1134 people take on world record

Students, faculty and staff members gathered at the Mabee Center Monday to help break the world record for most students popping Bubble Wrap simultaneously.

Right before the bubble popping began, Jeremy Burton reported 1,134 people showed up to participate.  This number exceeds the previous record of 942 people, held by Twin Lakes Elementary School.

The university heavily documented the event and counted all of the people who participated. It will send the information to Guinness who will then review the results. Guinness will respond to the university in 6-12 weeks.
