The men’s tennis team finished second in the Summit League Championship after falling to conference leader Denver 4-0 in Omaha, Nebraska this Saturday.
The Golden Eagles ended the season with a 14-11 record.
Jan Pehnec and Kenneth Boykin defeated No. 37 Henry Craig and Alex Gasson in the team’s only win of the day.
Denver dominated in all six of the singles matches, three were unfinished.
Junior Michael Sosnowski’s five match winning streak was snapped during the loss. He led the team with 15 wins on the season, but Pehnec followed with 14.
The loss comes after a 4-0 sweep of IUPUI on Friday. ORU finished the regular season 3rd in Summit League play.
