Big fun, small prices

Getting away from hectic class schedules and responsibilities frees up time for fun. However playing pool at the Hammer eventually grows old. For break-away, off-campus ideas, here are a few suggestions that won’t break the bank.

Andy B’s:
Bowl a perfect game . Take out friends at laser tag. Get behind the wheel of a go-kart. Andy B’s has you covered. Open seven days a week, AB’s is a short 10-minute walk south on Lewis. Check out free bowling for men on Mondays and for women on Wednesdays.

Cinemark Movies 8:
Find a date (or a friend), take a trip to Cinemark Movies 8 and watch entertaining movies for one dollar. “Heaven is For Real,” “The Amazing Spider-Man 2”and “X-Men: Days of Future Past” are a few of the movies currently playing.

Philbrook Museum:
Bring out your inner artist and visit Philbrook Musem. Explore classical art at the main branch or fall in love with contemporary art at the downtown branch. Philbrook gives free admission to ORU students with a valid student ID.

Tulsa Hills Shopping Center:
Tulsa Hills Shopping Center has a little bit for everyone. Visit stores for one-stop shoppers, fashion lovers and book worms. Don’t worry if you get hungry while shopping. Choose from Tulsa Hills’ variety of eateries that fit everyone’s tastes.

Jump Around:
Take some time to visit Skyzone, an indoor trampoline park. Enjoy activities such as ultimate dodge ball, foam zone, and sky fitness. Jump around at Skyzone for low as 10 dollars. Similar to Skyzone is The Airport. Come enjoy The Airport’s trampoline activities as well as free WI-FI, programming on LCD TVs, a charging area for phones and laptops and a café.
